It comes with a driver CD in case it didnt work automatically. ![]() Then it comes up in Device Manager in Other Devices as Unknown Device. It just pops back to Image Devices as USB2.0 PC Camera with the yellow exclamation mark. I right clicked the driver and chose Compatibility Mode Windows 7. I tried Compatibility Mode XP (Service pack 3) and the driver installed for 15 minutes (instead of a few minutes) and asked me to reboot as usual but that didnt work either. Instead Device Manager is showing (Code 18) reinstall driver. The driver is an InstallScript Setup Launcher so it cant be found. I know nothing about drivers and would like some advice please. Unfortunately the drivers included with the device will only work up to Windows 7 or possibly 8. Cooling Tech Microscope Software Windows 10 To SupplyYour only hope is to either wait for Windows 10 to supply a driver or revert back to Windows 7 if the upgrade was less than 30 days. I cant say the software will install a Windows 10 driver or not. Any major Windows 10 update can render your device such as your microscope or printer useless. Since it is no longer supported, you are expected to purchase a new one. With all previous versions of Windows, you knew your device would work until end of support and in this case Windows 7 end of support is 2020 which is another 4 years from now. Personally, if I had a Windows 7 computer, I would refuse the upgrade if I knew I would be purchasing a new computer after 2020.
